Patco Model LH-UV light head features a special coated
Low-Pressure Mercury-Arc lamp. These lamps are each coated with a
special blended phosphor to emit UV radiation at 368 nm. The UV
radiation emitted at this wavelength produces spectacular and
striking visual effects. It will allow the user to view
fluorescent objects and creatures underwater. It will transform a
gray ocean reef into a colorful and breathtaking underwater
garden.
The Model LH-UV can be powered from any PATCO battery pack and
consumes only 15 Watts of power. It features a magnetic ON/OFF
switch, which is incorporated into the handle. Because of its
efficiency and low power drain, the LH-UV light can be easily
added to the heater system with little effect on the heating time.
